Fabius is developed by Subhi Mukbel ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the Fabius app and service. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Fabius.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data; it is part of these terms.
What Fabius is
Fabius lets you create AI agents, talk to them, give them documents, and connect them to channels and mailboxes you own.
Agents can be wrong. They generate text from a language model, and that text can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, even when it sounds certain. Fabius is not professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise — and you are responsible for checking anything you act on.
Agents act when you let them. If you connect a mailbox or a channel and allow an agent to use it, that agent can read, write, send and delete in it on your behalf. You choose which agents get that access, and you can disconnect at any time.
Your account
You need an account, and you must be old enough to have one: 13 or older, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
Keep your password and your device to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at help@fabius.app if you think somebody else has access.
You can delete your account from the app, in Settings → Profile → Delete account. Deleting is permanent and takes your conversations, agents and documents with it.
Workspaces
Your work lives in a workspace. A workspace can have more than one member, and an owner can invite people, change what they can do, and remove them.
One member pays for a workspace. That person's credits are spent by everything done in it, by any member, and the app shows on the Credits screen who that is. Owners can hand that role to another owner. If you join somebody else's workspace, they see that the workspace spent credits and what it was spent on; they do not see your other workspaces.
Anyone who can delete a workspace deletes everything in it, for everybody in it. That is not reversible.
Credits and payment
Fabius runs on credits. What you spend depends on what you ask the agents to do.
- Credits are bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and those stores take the payment. Their terms apply to the purchase itself.
- Credits never expire and have no cash value. They are not money, and they cannot be transferred between accounts, exchanged, or refunded to you as cash.
- Refunds are the stores' to give. Ask Apple or Google. Nothing here takes away a refund right your local law gives you.
- A free starter balance may be included with a new account. It can expire, and the app says when.
- Prices and what an action costs can change. Credits you have already bought are not revalued.
- We may refuse or reverse credits obtained through a failed, disputed or fraudulent payment.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or use Fabius to harm, harass, defraud, or impersonate anybody.
- Upload or generate sexual content involving minors, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
- Send content you have no right to send, including other people's personal data you were not permitted to share.
- Attack the service: break into accounts, interfere with other people's use, scrape it, or get around credits, rate limits or any other restriction.
- Resell Fabius, or run it as your own service.
- Use it to send bulk unsolicited messages through a connected mailbox or channel.
If you break these terms we may suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable we will say why first.
Your content, and ours
What you put in stays yours. You keep every right you had in the conversations, files and agents you create. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, show it back to you, send the relevant parts to a language-model provider to answer you, and share it with the other members of a workspace you put it in.
You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to upload it.
What an agent writes back is yours to use, as far as we are concerned. Other people may receive similar answers to similar questions, and nobody can own text a model produces in the same way they own what they wrote.
Fabius itself stays ours — the app, the service and the name.
Third parties
Fabius uses other companies to work: model providers, the connector service that holds your mailbox grants, the app stores, and the infrastructure the service runs on. The privacy policy names them. Their failures can become outages here, and their terms apply to the part they provide.
Availability, and changes
We do not promise Fabius is always available, or that it never loses data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Features can change or be withdrawn.
We may change these terms. If a change matters, the app will say so before it takes effect, and the date at the top always tells you when they last moved. Carrying on using Fabius after that is how you accept the new version.
No warranty, and what we owe you
Fabius is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they do not apply to you, and nothing here removes a right you have as a consumer.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We can end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give notice where we reasonably can.
Unspent credits are not refunded when you close your own account. If we close the service, or close your account for a reason that is not your breach, we will refund unspent purchased credits where the law requires it.
